What are the tips for selecting commercial display cabinets?
1. MDF: MDF is a board made by pressing wood fibers and synthetic resin under heating and pressure conditions. As its name suggests, it has a high density and small gaps, making it a very delicate type of wood. The surface of the density board is smooth and flat, the material is fine and dense, the performance is stable, the edges are firm, and the decorative properties of the board surface are good, making it easy to carry out coating processing. Of course, density boards also have limitations, as they are compressed from wood fibers and have poor moisture resistance and stability of spiral components, making them prone to loosening. Therefore, they are often used as the surface layer of panels. Compared with particleboard, MDF has poorer nail holding force, and if the screws loosen after tightening, it is difficult to re fix them in the same position.
2. Check surface cleanliness: Density boards with good surface cleanliness have no obvious particles on their surface. Particles are caused by impurities introduced during the compression process, which not only affect aesthetics but also make the paint film prone to peeling off.
3. Surface smoothness and flatness: When touching the surface with your hand, there is a smooth feeling. If it feels rough, it indicates that the density board is not processed properly. The surface of the density board is bright and smooth. If the surface is uneven when viewed from the side, it indicates that there is a problem with the material or coating process.
